Hacking Writing on a Line Level
4-Day Course: December 4th, 11th, 15th, and 18th

No matter what genre you write in, knowing how to elevate your writing on a line level is an essential skill. But what does strong writing on a line level look like exactly? Are there rules and/or techniques that can help storytellers elevate their writing? And how can writers know if they’re improving this element of the craft?

Join literary agent and co-host of TSNOTYAW podcast CeCe Lyra to learn not just how to *understand* strong writing on a line level, but how to *hack* it!

This class will be jam packed with real-world examples of writing on a line level that work—and that don’t. All examples, all the time.

We’ll also have a live, cozy Q&A session on December 15th at 7pm ET (link will be emailed to attendees on December 12).

This webinar will also feature an interactive component. Everyone who is registered will have the option of submitting the opening scene of their work by Dec 4th for a *chance* to have it critiqued live during the course (submissions received after this date will not be considered). Instructions on how to submit will be sent to you automatically after registration (look for an email from Zoom). Please note that this submission does NOT constitute a query to a literary agent—it is a submission to an educational webinar. You are NOT querying CeCe by submitting to this webinar.

Writers of all categories and genres are invited to attend.

The recording will be emailed to everyone who is registered 24h later. Recordings will be available to the viewer for 60 days.

Refund policy: you may cancel your registration before the first class begins directly via Zoom to get a full refund. Refunds will not be issued after the course begins.

Each session is estimated to last between 3–4 hours.

All sessions begin at 7pm Eastern Time.
